Mike Harris

Mike has been involved in journalism all his working life, starting out as a football writer with Goal magazine in the 1990s before moving into lifestyle publishing, including Men’s Health and The Sunday Times. In 2003 he joined Golf Monthly and three years later would become only the eighth editor in the publication’s 113-year history.

In 2020 he was appointed Content Director for ball sports at Future Plc overseeing all aspects of Golf Monthly’s editorial and commercial output, along with two other iconic sports brands, FourFourTwo and Rugby World.

Mike has a passion for golf courses (he’s played over 500 worldwide) and golf shoes (he owns more pairs than he is prepared to admit). He is a member of seven golf clubs, including Royal Liverpool, Prince’s, Hartley Wintney and the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews.
